Cayman Islands Private Security and Executive Protection
JRS Investigations coordinates lawful executive protection and private security for business travelers, families, public figures, and residents in the Cayman Islands.
Assignments may include Owen Roberts International Airport, George Town, Seven Mile Beach, private residences, financial-district meetings, resorts, marinas, and yacht movements. The protection plan reflects the client’s schedule, visibility, and operational needs.
Services Shaped Around Your Itinerary
Depending on the assignment, planning may include close protection, advance work, secure transportation coordination, hotel or residence security, event support, and threat monitoring. JRS defines the lawful scope before deployment and coordinates appropriately licensed local resources when required.
Related resources include our private security and executive protection services, TSCM bug sweep services, and background checks.
Before Deployment
We review the client’s concerns, schedule, lawful authority, staffing needs, travel logistics, and communication plan before service begins. Availability and licensing requirements depend on the location and assignment. No specific outcome can be promised, but careful preparation can help reduce risk and support informed decisions.

Planning Protection on Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands
A useful protection plan identifies where each movement begins and ends, who controls access and how changes will be approved. An airport arrival, business meeting, resort stay and private-villa visit need different arrangements.
Airport Arrivals and George Town Meetings
For arrivals at Owen Roberts International Airport, confirm the flight, traveler count, luggage, pickup method, vehicle and responsible contact before departure. A delayed flight or separate family arrival needs a backup procedure. For George Town meetings, review parking, building reception, visitor identification and the transition to the next appointment.
Seven Mile Beach, West Bay and Private Properties
Resort and villa planning can include Seven Mile Beach, Camana Bay, West Bay, Bodden Town, North Side and East End as the itinerary requires. Confirm the permitted entrance, guest-registration process, pickup point, property contact and access authority. Give the team a clear procedure for excursions or travelers choosing different activities.
Cayman Brac and Little Cayman
Sister Island travel requires its own staffing, transport and handoff plan. Confirm flight arrangements, luggage limits, lodging access and local availability before extending Grand Cayman coverage. Check current arrival information through the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism travel resources; a flight change may affect both the scope and timing.
Licensing and Responsibilities
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service explains security licensing requirements. Before deployment, the assignment must identify the appropriately licensed business and personnel performing regulated work, along with any other required approvals. JRS does not present a foreign qualification as Cayman authorization. Armed capability, specialist equipment or medical qualifications must be separately verified before they are described in a proposal.
Services Matched to Your Assignment
- Executive and family protection: coverage planned around the people included, public exposure, activities and agreed supervision responsibilities.
- Transport coordination: identified drivers, vehicles, pickup points, communication methods and backup arrangements.
- Residence, resort and event planning: advance review and coordination with owners, managers, organizers and venue security.
- Marina and yacht handoffs: shore-side access, arrival timing and responsibilities coordinated with the captain and marina. Vessel coverage requires a separate assessment.
- Investigative support: separately scoped background research, due diligence or authorized TSCM inspections when relevant to the concern.
Private protection supports the agreed plan. It does not replace police, emergency medical services, airport authorities or a property's own controls. No incident-free trip or round-the-clock medical response is promised.
Confidential Consultation and a Written Proposal
Begin with the travel dates, party size, lodging, planned activities and specific concern. Identify the person authorized to approve coverage and share the itinerary. Agree on a safe reply channel before sending sensitive travel or family details.
The proposal should state the service provider, personnel roles, coverage hours, vehicle arrangements, fees, travel expenses, deposits and cancellation terms. It should also explain how overtime, itinerary changes or additional services require approval. Availability is confirmed for the assignment rather than assumed from a location listing.
Information is limited to people who need it for the work and handled according to applicable obligations. An immediate threat or crime in progress belongs with public emergency services; a consultation is not an emergency-response line.
Cayman Islands Private Security FAQs
Can I arrange protection before arriving in Cayman?
Yes. Provide your travel window, lodging, party size, planned movements and the concern you want addressed. JRS can assess the request remotely, confirm local resources and provide a written scope before booking.
How much does executive protection cost?
Pricing depends on coverage hours, staffing, vehicles, locations and travel. Request a written proposal that separates included services from expenses, overtime and optional investigative work. Confirm deposits and cancellation terms before paying.
Can the plan include airport transfers and resort visits?
Yes, when included in the agreed scope. Confirm flight details, pickup instructions, driver and vehicle contacts, luggage needs, resort access and a backup contact for delays or itinerary changes.
Can you cover Cayman Brac or Little Cayman?
Requests can be assessed separately. Sister Island coverage depends on qualified local availability, travel arrangements and the assignment. Grand Cayman staffing or transportation does not automatically extend to another island.
Who performs licensed security work?
The proposal should identify the appropriately licensed local business and personnel performing regulated security services. Licensing and other required approvals must be verified for the proposed work; a website listing does not establish authorization.
Can you inspect my villa or meeting room for surveillance devices?
A separate TSCM assessment may be considered when the requesting party has lawful authority to permit the inspection. Hotel or rental-property access may require the owner's or manager's approval. Scope and availability must be confirmed first.
Does this page represent a staffed Cayman office?
This page describes assignment-based planning and coordination. JRS does not represent it as a staffed Cayman Islands office or promise continuous on-island availability.
What information should I send first?
Send dates, destinations, party size, the specific concern and a safe contact method. Discuss property access, public appearances, mobility needs and decision makers during consultation. Avoid sending passwords or unrelated sensitive records.
