Never dismantle an electrical fixture, open an unfamiliar device, or move a suspected item yourself. If you find something concerning, photograph it from where it sits, note the date and circumstances, and limit unnecessary access.
Step 5: Findings, documentation, and risk-reduction plan
After the inspection, the investigator explains what was examined, what was observed, which findings require attention, and what limitations remain. Depending on the assignment, documentation may include a written summary, photographs, identified signal information, or recommended security changes.
No responsible provider should promise to detect every possible device or guarantee that a location is completely free of surveillance. Equipment may be powered off, dormant, wired, remotely activated, concealed behind inaccessible construction, or outside the authorized scope. A report should describe the work performed and findings without overstating certainty.
How to prepare for an Indialantic TSCM sweep
